What to Share:
Something in your life that is growing well
Means: Share something that is going well, went well, or felt like flourishing from the previous week that you want to give thanks to God for.
And/or Something that’s wilting
Means: Share about a situation that is not going well or is discouraging from the previous week that you need God’s help with.
Remember to pay attention to the person on your right and take notes if necessary, because you will be praying for them.

Reflection Questions:
Considering the homework activities from the previous week, share an answer to one of the following questions. You do not have to have had a profound theological experience. The practice of paying attention and sharing our experience is valuable in and of itself.
What did you come to know about God?
What did God call you to?
What did you see that you hadn’t seen before?
What surprised you?
What troubled you?
Where do you go from here?

Discussion Question:
Do you think it was fair that the plagues in Egypt affected all of the Egyptian people? Why or why not? (Does it affect your answer to remember that the slavery of Israel went on for 400 years?)
It took 40 years of wandering for God to get Egypt out of Israel- Why was it so hard for Israel to trust in the God that delivered them from slavery?
Do you have a practice of remembering what it was like before you became a follower of Jesus to ensure you don’t go back to the way you were before? What church practice calls us to remember?
