Live it out

For each video, we will respond to the teaching and passage in an embodied way.

This just means that we will do something with our bodies that helps us absorb our video learning into something with the power to transform.

As you “Live it out,” keep in mind:

  • It’s OK if the activity feels a little weird.  Growth happens when we are vulnerable.

  •  You do not have to worry about getting it right.  I promise, there is no right way to do any of these embodied activities.

  • Go slow.  These activities should feel like tilling the relational soil with God, not toiling in the hot sun.  Relax and enjoy the process.

Ready, set, grow.

  • Lord, Help me to rely on you as I walk in your truth, even when you are calling me to something that feels upside down, knowing that your love is forever and no matter what. Amen.

  • Spend 1 hour wandering around (on foot) without a plan. You can start at your front door, or drive somewhere you’ve always wanted to go. The key is not knowing ahead of time which direction you'll walk or what you’ll try to see or experience.

  • Once you’re back to the safety of your car or home, make a simple map that marks where you wandered. Mark the location of notable sights or experiences and save the map for your reflection.
