For this week, prayerfully consider a person in your life who is struggling and ask God what you can do to serve them in a way that really costs you something. You might babysit a tired mom’s kids for 3 hours so that she can have some time to herself. You might take an overwhelmed (even underperforming) employee out for a nice lunch? You might step up to actually fill that open assistant coach position for your kid’s soccer team because you see the dad in charge is totally overwhelmed doing it alone. Whatever it is, do it.
