Live it out
For each video, we will respond to the teaching and passage in an embodied way.
This just means that we will do something with our bodies that helps us absorb our video learning into something with the power to transform.
As you “Live it out,” keep in mind:
It’s OK if the activity feels a little weird. Growth happens when we are vulnerable.
You do not have to worry about getting it right. I promise, there is no right way to do any of these embodied activities.
Go slow. These activities should feel like tilling the relational soil with God, not toiling in the hot sun. Relax and enjoy the process.
Ready, set, grow.
-
Lord, Help me to see, in the bodies and behavior of people, what you find very good in creation. Amen.

Go somewhere you can do some serious people-watching (for example: malls, community events, busy parks or meeting spaces).
Spend 30 minutes people watching. Really pay attention to and jot down (in a journal or in your notes app) the things you can learn about people from their external (embodied) actions.
Alternatively, if you like to process through art, sketch (or a create comic strip story, or make caricatures) of the people you observe.
-
No need to respond (except maybe a thanks to God for the beauty you witnessed).
Just keep your notes/drawings for consideration in your final reflection.
