Live it out

For each video, we will respond to the teaching and passage in an embodied way.

This just means that we will do something with our bodies that helps us absorb our video learning into something with the power to transform.

As you “Live it out,” keep in mind:

  • It’s OK if the activity feels a little weird.  Growth happens when we are vulnerable.

  •  You do not have to worry about getting it right.  I promise, there is no right way to do any of these embodied activities.

  • Go slow.  These activities should feel like tilling the relational soil with God, not toiling in the hot sun.  Relax and enjoy the process.

Ready, set, grow.

  • Lord,, Give me the desire and strength to carry the burdens of others. Amen

  • This ‘Live it out” activity is meant to go with the “Love it in activity” and, this week, it makes sense to do the love it in activity first.

Once you have uncovered a burden you can carry for someone in you community, do it. Whether it’s babysitting, mowing the lawn, helping someone move., or visiting someone who is alone in skilled nursing, do it.

  • Whatever you are doing, take one picture that captures the experience (this isn’t for Instagram to show how great you are) and keep it for your reflection.
